Dwell Style Interiors began as a Home Staging company in 2012. We rebranded to Interior Design in 2020. After our own kitchen renovation in 2020, the experience gained from this, and being involved in the renovation as an Interior Designer, confirmed that we were in our niche as a business and service for our clients.
There are similarities in these two categories: Home Staging and Interior Design, however the differences are as followings:
The quality, durability and function of all furniture and in other materials have to be the priority when we source for our Interior Design clients.
Therefore, because of the choice of quality selections, the investment cost for the furnishings will be in a higher price bracket.
Interior Design is a luxury service and is not geared for the DIYer looking for the cheapest way to accomplish the look they want in their home.
We, as a boutique Interior Design firm serving Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas, prefer to be known as an Interior Design firm that focuses on neutrals and textures with a pop of color in accessories and art. We will incorporate your favorite heirloom pieces in the overall design.
In our Full Luxury Design service, we will handle everything from Concept to Completion for your design project.
Interior Design is not for the faint of heart. There can be many delays, set backs, and a long time frame for a renovation project before completion. One must be prepared for this. As a professional, we believe that it’s up to us at Dwell Style Interiors to keep our clients “in the know” and to inform them every step of the way by sending a Friday Forecast email with information on how things are moving along with their design project.
Ex. - “Mr. & Mrs Client, things are on schedule.”
OR
Ex. - “Mr & Mrs. Client, there will be a two week delay with ________”
We serve the busy professional who does not have the time for DIY (ie- selecting on their own online, or trying to find pricing lower in order to save a few pennies)Who has time for that!! Our clients are hiring us to handle all of these details for them! We work with clients who will trust us to provide a luxurious look yet a look that is livable, functional, warm, inviting and timeless.
